The VINUS International Wine and Spirits Competition is one of the most prestigious and longest-running contests in Latin America. Born in the province of Mendoza, Argentina — the region's wine capital — this annual event was conceived with an innovative outlook on winemaking. Its founding purpose is to raise awareness of the beneficial effects of wine on nutrition and health, while promoting high-quality production and responsible consumption. It is the only International competition in Argentina.

This edition featured 521 samples from 17 countries. Products from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Uruguay earned the Double Gold Medal by scoring above 95 points.
